Posted with her kind permission. I have the entire thing in a .rar file, so you will need WinRAR or a similar program. If the file expires or whatever, just comment and I will upload it again. These are not songs from the story; she has a soundtrack for that. These are songs I picked out to listen to while reading the fic, in the mood of the story; wailing guitars, growling vocals; rock songs. My reasons for including each song (the italic text) contain spoilers for the story.
For anyone who has not read Beautiful Disaster, including my House, Korman, and FBR bandom friends; Go! READ! It's an AU, so you don't need to know anything about these people other than what they look like.

The anthem for a relationship that is a car crash in the making.
Nirvana ~ You Know You're Right
Cobain was the ultimate Mr. Self-Destruct. This one is for Justin and Milo, who are trying to live up to his bad example.
The Tragically Hip ~ So Hard Done By
I don't know what it is about this song that just encapsulates the theme of this fic for me, the plaintive vocals and the grinding guitar just...does it for me.
Third Eye Blind ~ How's It Going To Be
This is just me indulging my and nyxie's mutual love of 3EB for no particular reason except it's my playlist, and I CAN.
The Tragically Hip ~ New Orleans Is Sinking
My love for the Hip making another cameo appearance.
Red Hot Chili Peppers ~ Can't Stop
I love the guitar on this. And for me, it just epitomizes getting caught up in the whirl of success, that it kind of takes you over until you're addicted to the life.

The hollow brass ring of fame.
Wide Mouth Mason ~ Love Not Loving You

Jet ~ Cold Hard Bitch
The retro sound of this is awesome. Somehow up-tempo and cheerful despite being about a...well, a Cold Hard Bitch.
Cobra Starship ~ The Church of Hot Addiction
I included this because it's awesome, and most people who aren't in bandom have never heard of Cobra Starship. COME TO THE DARK SIDE, we have cookies!
Nine Inch Nails ~ The Hand That Feeds
NIN, because AH LOFF THEM.
I Mother Earth ~ Summertime In The Void
I really ♥ the baseline in this. And Brian Byrne sounds like he's strangling on every word.
Rise Against ~ Collapse (Post-Amerika)
Kickass guitar riffs and a metal song with an actual message.
Three Days Grace ~ Just Like You
These guys were a blip on the radar about five years ago and then vanished, but they're actually pretty good.

I love these boys. *tackles them* This is more of an upbeat song, I kind of imagine it as more Revolution Earth's style.
Lenny Kravitz ~ If I Could Fall In Love
A Jensen POV song. Ish. There may be some pronoun issues. But Lenny Kravitz is awesome with a side of awesomesauce, so it's okay.
Juliette Lewis ~ Hardly Wait
Yes, JULIETTE LEWIS. For serious.
Our Lady Peace ~ 4am
OLP from before they sold out and got mainstream and lame. Also an oblique reference to Justin's issues. "If I don't make it, know that I loved you all along..."
Stone Temple Pilots ~ Vasoline
I'm sure you guys all know this one. In my head, T Minus Zero opened for STP before they hit it really big, and then STP was relegated to opening act once T Minus Zero was the biggest thing in music. Like a rock circle of life. It's probably not canon; askthenyxie.

This song is for Tom Welling, in all his pierced-lip Justin-fucking glory. Smallville, heh.
Theory Of A Deadman ~ Bad Girlfriend
This song is effing HILARIOUS. And it's even kind of appropriate to the fic if you pretend it's gender-nonspecific.

I cannot WAIT to listen to all the songs at once--and OMG Juliette Lewis, I love that song and HER VOICE is SO amazing!--especially the ones I'm not familiar with, and esp. this one since you say it encapsulates the whole fic and I've never heard it: The Tragically Hip ~ So Hard Done By. I'll probably have way more to say after I listen to the whole thing. But in the meantime, I WILL be pimpnig this on LJ, probably tomorrow morning when there's more people around, and also, adding it to the master post if that's okay with you? THANK YOU SO MUCH!
P.S. They totally opened for STP in the begining and then switched off later when T minus Zero got huge. But Scott Wielan totally didn't mind, because he thought T Minus Zero was fucking AWESOME! ;)

I love that you included the Velvet Revolver song, because in reading Slash's autobiography I was frequently reminded of Beautiful Disaster.
